Electronic Blood Pressure Readings:
This service is available on a complimentary basis. Stop in the office if you want your blood pressure checked.

Massage Therapy:
Half- and full-hour massages are available Monday through Friday from one of our four skilled Licensed Massage Therapists, who excel in neuromuscular, Swedish, myofascial, sports, adhesion release, reflexology and pregnancy massage. Some massage treatments are payable by insurance when one is under chiropractic care. Many conditions respond more quickly when massage therapy is added to the treatment regimen.

Senior Spa:
Chiropractic plus massage therapy for our Medicare patients--it's a winning combination."

Acupuncture:
Dr. Rosemary Kaszans balances body systems using a modern form of this age-old Oriental practice of natural healing. Meridian therapy uses stimulation of acupoints to bring about well-being. Acupuncture is useful in treatment of many musculoskeletal and metabolic conditions, and is a perfect adjunct to both chiropractic and medical health care.

EMG (Electromyography):
Test for nerve involvement at corresponding muscle level. We use surface electrodes, and not needles, making this a very comfortable test for you.

Lung Function:
We can quickly and painlessly test your breathing capacity; our equipment will graph your lung function and compare it with predicted values for your age.

Vascular Studies:
This procedure can rule out any developing circulatory obstructions that may be misinterpreted as nerve pain or muscle pain.

Urinalysis:
Tests for abnormalities in kidney function, and can determine any developing diabetes, infection, or obstruction.

Blood Analysis:
We can provide diagnostic and nutritional analysis of your blood chemistry. We use several local labs in Brunswick; simply bring our referral form to the lab, and they will send us your results.

Temperature Gradient Studies:
This procedure can easily verify a suspected nerve root lesion by checking areas of your spine and extremities that correspond to a nerve level. A decrease of temperature indicates a possible nerve root lesion.

Nutritional Services:
We recommend that a lab chemistry be done prior to any specific recommendations. We pay special attention to diet and nutrition in our practice, and any recommended vitamin supplements will be available.

Independent Medical Examiners
Independent medical examiner's receive specialized training in the various aspects of non-biased medical examinations. Frequently, Dr. Ed Kaszans will examine patients at the request of an insurance company or another doctor to obtain a second opinion. These examinations often are useful to evaluate the specific treatments that are being rendered and suggestions to the treating doctor are made. Members of the legal community often request Dr. Kaszans' testimony as an expert witness. As a member of the Independent Chiropractic Examiners Society, Dr. Kaszans is well trained to perform these specialized evaluations.

Second Opinion Exams:
Many local chiropractors routinely refer their difficult cases to us for another opinion. If you are not satisfied with your doctor's approach to your complaint, feel free to call us and schedule an examination. Having an exam at their office does not mean that you have to be a patient of ours; however, we also believe that after your office visit, you will simply want to be.

Electrocardiography (ECG):
State of the art 3-channel, 12 lead, computerized electrocardiograph analysis outlines a diagnostic diagrammatic assessment of the electrical activity of the heart. In less than 1 minute this test procedure supplies information that can differentiate a simple cardiac condition from a potentially life threatening cardiac related emergency.

Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing:
is used to evaluate peripheral nerves to determine if there is any compression or entrapment. This test evaluates the fastest conducting nerve fibers and helps to localize damage to the nerve.
